Gentle Reminders
Art therapy isn't about just drawing and painting. It can be collaging images and papers together. In this artjournal page, I was cutting out coloredpaper for another project. When I lookeddown on the ground, I saw this mess ofpapers with other colors and shapespeeking through and some intertwined. Iimmediately thought, "This is exactly howI feel right now!" So many things on myplate that it was a mass of interestingshapes and color. It was a good reminderto start pulling out pieces of my life toexamine. Doing so lessened the overwhelm I was feeling.
