Art Journaling
Art Journaling
I use art journaling with many of my clients as it is a reflective process that combines visual elements, such as drawing or collage, with writing to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences on a deeper level. This practice encourages individuals to engage with their inner world by visually expressing concepts and feelings, which can lead to greater personal insight and understanding. Artistic talent is not required to benefit from art journaling; the only requirement is a willingness to be open to self-exploration and discovery. This cathartic experience allows individuals to connect with their emotions, foster psychological well-being, and promote self-discovery by providing a non-judgmental space for reflection and expression.
Below are some pages from my art journals to give you and idea of what exploring with images and words can look like.
